 The small town of Yacolt, Washington is located in Clark County in the State of Washington about 35 minutes north east of Vancouver, Washington and beyond Battle Ground, Washington which is the closest city with larger shopping and dining opportunities. Portland, Oregon & the Portland airport (PDX)  are about 40-45 minutes away.

Like Amboy, Washington, & not far away, this is truly a rural town surrounded by farms, forest and mountains like Mount St. Helens. For those that want a scenic, private, slower pace this area is definitely for you. This is NOT the area for those who are looking for all the trappings of a city just down the road. 

Although home developments are beginning to grow in Yacolt, Washington, homes on acreage, horse properties, farms and forest are the norm. Snow is fairly typical for this area but does not last long. Winters and summers are mild. Springs and Falls are spectacular.
