The city of Washougal, Washington in Clark County is considered the gateway to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Located at and in the Cascades foothills and on the north bank of the Columbia river, it is a growing, popular new home area with boating & golfing and is central to all the recreational venues the Great Northwest has to offer. It is about 15 minutes due east of Vancouver, Washington and the Portland airport (PDX). Downtown Portland, Oregon is about 25 minutes away.
